Public Installation by Nasser Almulhim at ICD Brookfield Place
High Spirits is an installation by Saudi artist Nasser Almulhim at ICD Brookfield Place, DIFC, Dubai. The work transforms the site into a setting animated by colour, form and spatial play. Almulhim extends his abstract language beyond the canvas: forms lifted from his paintings rise from the floor and descend from the ceiling, their silhouettes suspended in a continuous field of movement. Work on canvas anchor the installation, where vessel-like forms pulse across cobalt, ochre and coral grounds, setting up a dialogue between inner and outer worlds.
Anchored in psychology, spirituality and geometry, Almulhim’s practice treats making as a meditative process that aligns interior and exterior realms. In High Spirits, this principle is scaled to the collective. Colour operates as energy in circulation, re-tuning the workplace into a site of attention and encounter.
